QUALIFICATIONS and JOB REQUIREMENTS: Primary Requirements: Shift Graveyard
Maintaining the plant and surroundings in compliance with (Good Manufacturing Practices
audit) and food safety standards. Responsible for detailed cleaning and upkeep of the plant,
insuring that all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized, and ready for the client to process his
product.
Removal of all trash and product/soil from plant
Cleaning of floors, walls, ceiling as needed on the Master Sanitation Plan
Exposure to chemical cleaning solution, organization of chemical storage
Assist Sanitation Supervisor and Leads on any additional duties
Maintain all Sanitation Equipment (tools) in order at all times
Wear employer-specified protective gear, inc gloves, goggles, boots,ear plugs, hair net, etc.
Follow all Health & Safety guidelines established for this position
Skills:
Ideal candidate must have knowledge of chemical usage, proportions and regulations
Decision making/problem solving, listening skills, strength
Knowledge of all sanitation equipment (tools)
Knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety, Sanitation Procedures and MSDS
Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to handle difficult and/or sensitive situations and be willing to accept change
and work in a team based environment.
Physical Requirements:
Required to lift up to 60 lbs (garbage removal, etc.). Perform repetitive tasks, standing for
extended periods, walking, climbing, bending & crouching. -Be able to work in a cold & wet
environment
Other Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation, to get to work site Must be flexible with work schedule
Will be required to work weekends This position DOES NOT require the ability to read
and write English, but minimum knowledge of comprehension is a plus.
